Barnes has been featured in prominent publications like American Songwriter, Billboard, and Rolling Stone.

 

Barnes recently completed his Quartz Hill Records debut album with producers Mickey Jack Cones (Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett), Derek George (Randy Houser) and Ilya Toshinskiy (Jelly Roll). The album will be released in early 2025 while the first single from the album, “Love in the Country,” is available now across all streaming and digital retail partners!

Blueberry cheesecake

Crust

Ingredients

1½ cups graham crackers (crushed)

2 tbs sugar

5 tbs melted Amish butter

 

Instructions

Combine ingredients then form a crust in a cake pan.

Chill in the fridge for half an hour.

 

Filling

Ingredients

24 oz cream cheese

½ cup sour cream

¾ cup sugar

1 tbs lemon juice

1 tbs vanilla extract

3 large eggs

3 tbs flour

2 cups blueberries, preferably jerseys or bluecrop

 

Instructions

Combine ingredients then pour into cake pan.

Bake for 70 minutes at 310 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rest for an hour.

Put in fridge for one day before serving.
